Facebook Rockstar has been the top selling PLR product over the last couple of months. Not only that but the squeeze page has an opt-in rate of around 40%, probably closer to 50% if you took out the name field and just asked for an email.
If you don’t have a product this truly is one of the best ways to get started in internet marketing.
I am not joking when I say that list building could be the source of your fortune online. Like me you may have heard words ‘list building’ bandied about before, but never really believed you have what it takes to build a huge responsive list. Let me just say this, building a list was the single most important factor to my online success! It took me five years to figure out that that’s what I should be doing and to have the confidence to interact with people in that way.
Let’s have a look at why list building is so important:
What is List Building?
List building is a process of engaging with a potential customer and creating a relationship with them. In order to do this you need to have a good offer or squeeze page, and know how to manage your list once you are in contact with them.
Collecting potential customer’s email – This process involves creating interest within your potential customers. As I said you need a good offer or squeeze page. The best way to get started is to buy the rights to some hot selling offer and label it as your own product. There are a few good sources but I really like Rockstar PLR. Building a relationship with your list – Presenting the initial offer is just the start. Once you have a sizeable list you’ll have to keep offering good quality stuff or they will lose interest. Having good communication and a strong relationship with your list helps you convert potential customers into real customers. I’m going to show you how to do this with Video Blogging here.
Always Remember: Most people hate hard selling. They do not like being pressured especially if it involves the idea of having to buy something. Treat them the way you would want to be treated and just be up front with them. Always start with building up a relationship with your list, offer them gifts or giveaways from your sales copy with up sells or special discounts.
Build up Trust: Trust is the foundation of all business success. If they trust you they will buy from you, period.
Create credibility: Don’t exaggerate claims but be upfront with your list. They will see you as a credible source of information and training.
I’ve been affiliate marketing for a few years now and have made a lot of mistakes (and a few surprising successes as well!). What’s most important, though, is that I never gave up. Here I am sitting in my home office watching the sales roll in. How did I do it? And what is affiliate marketing anyway?
What is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate Marketing is a money sharing venture between a publisher and an online merchant. The publisher (that’s you!) or a blogger will place a related advertisement on his site, email or any other place you can imagine; its purpose is to facilitate the merchant in selling their products or to send potential customers to the merchant’s website. Publishers then are rewarded with monetary compensation in exchange for that effort.
Commissions are usually a percentage of a sale but can also be a fixed sum of money per conversion. Certain affiliate programs will also have the buyer send money directly into your PayPal account (my favorite) without having to wait for a preset limit. Clickbank is probably the most well known, but others such as digiresults.com or warriorplus.com are certainly worthwhile checking out.
So Basically You Get Paid In Affiliate Marketing:
When your reader follows a link, then converts into a buyer for a particular product.
When your reader takes some kind of action like giving their email address or filling in a survey.
Which Kind Of CPA Offers Are Best?
They all have their pros and cons. If you are just starting out Pay Per Lead or Pay Per Click (think adsense) is the easiest but in my experience the big bucks are to be found in Pay Per Sale, particularly if they are your own products! I’ll reveal all the juicy details on product creation later, but for now just bear it in mind…
Traffic, Traffic, Traffic:
It’s all about traffic. No traffic means no money. If you haven’t started building a list in your niche what are you waiting for? Having a good quality list means being able to generate traffic on demand and it’s traffic that you don’t have to pay for.
Offer relevant products. Conversions will drop way down if you are not providing relevant offers to your list or visitors. This is why picking a big competitive niche is best; you’ll be able to find plenty of great offers to satisfy your visitors for years to come.
Review the product you are offering first. Don’t waste time with something that is just rubbish.
Don’t lose hope. Even if your readers are not in the ‘buying mood’ at the moment they may be later on. Build a list, find out what they want and offer quality products.
Never:
Push products of inferior quality, you can actually do more harm for your reputation then is worth the few bucks you might make.

Myth 1) You can get rich quick online:
This is probably the biggest myth of all. Offline or online you are not going to get rich quick despite all of the claims from so called ‘gurus’. The truth is you can get very wealthy online but it’s not a matter of just clicking a button. You need a plan of action and a system that you can scale and outsource (or automate).
Find something that makes money, even if it’s just a little bit, and scale it up. It takes time and won’t happen in a day, but you can get rich by being consistent, doing what works and scaling it up.
There are lots of free methods to gain traffic; Again, the paying ones are easier, but I want to concentrate on the free ones in this post.
First, make sure you have a sitemap generator plugin and that you submit the sitemap to Google. In that way, every time you publish a new article, Google is alerted and updates its searches with the new information.
Also, a good way to get Google interested in your site is to drip feed the articles. For example, if you have 10 articles to add to site, put 5 up straight away and then add the extra 5 to be drip fed every 3-4 days. It will appear that you are adding new content regularly, which Google likes.
If you want to make sure your posts get indexed within 24 hours make sure you are adding new content every day.
As it is a WordPress blog, you automatically have an RSS feed created for you, which is a great way to promote the site. There are lots of site where you can submit your details and get your feeds pinged by the search engines. Following are some good ones: Read the rest of this entry
For hosting, there are lots of different companies but one I recommend is Hostgator. Their prices start from as low as $4 per month for unlimited sites. If you are just starting out this is a good place to begin although if you are really serious about your internet marketing I would suggest getting the reseller account and ultimately moving up to a dedicated server. This means your hosting is not shared with a number of other websites.
Building The Site
There are lots of ways to build a site, but the cheapest way is to use WordPress. It is free and easy to install.
If you have hosting from companies that have Cpanel, like Hostgator, then you can use a program called Fantastico De Luxe. With a few button clicks, in less than 5mins you will have WordPress installed.
Many people make 5 figures per month doing affiliate marketing and Adsense is a great way to get started. It’s really easy to get approved and you can start making money almost immediately. Don’t expect 5 figures per month without a bit of effort though!
The actual application of setting up an Adsense account is relatively simple to do. But to insure that you get accepted by Google into its program you need to validate your website. This validation is so important that it means approval or no approval of your application. If you get a no approval because you failed to miss some important steps it will take a while to get back into the graces of Google to be approved into Adsense. But if you do get approved for Adsense for one of your websites then the doors of opportunity will have opened up for you. Once you get past the initial acceptance period you are free to create as many websites or blogs that you want to put your publisher ID number on it.
The publisher ID will be your tag for Adsense income.
Yes there are thousands of webmasters who have Adsense approval but they must follow the rules that Google has set forth. Any type of infraction of these rules will suspend an account and immediately stop any income from being credited into your account.
